Portland, Ore., Jan. 21, 2021 – As the official kickoff of the 2022 Portland International Auto Show (PIAS), the Sneak Peek Charity Preview Party gives attendees the opportunity to be an automotive insider by being the first to glimpse the newest vehicles offered by the global auto industry. It’s also an evening of giving back to the community. Celebrating its seventh year, the Sneak Peek benefits eight local charities and has raised nearly $4 million since its inception. Sponsored this year by Audi Beaverton, Ally Financial, and EC Electric, auto show Sneak Peek will be held among more than 600 new vehicles Wed., Feb. 23, 6:30 – 9:30 pm at the Oregon Convention Center.
With $100 of the $125 ticket price going directly to the charities, Sneak Peek contributes significantly to the annual budgets of its beneficiaries, allowing them to continue providing valuable services. This year, those charities include Boys & Girls Clubs of Portland; Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation; Meals on Wheels People; Victory Academy; the Brian Grant Foundation; The Dougy Center; Self Enhancement Incorporated, and Veterans Legacies.
The charities help some of the most vulnerable citizens in the Portland area and the auto show is proud to support their efforts, says Greg Remensperger, executive director, PIAS.
“There isn’t a better neighbor in your community than an auto show or auto dealership,” says Remensperger. “The dealer community here in the Portland area has always been generous, and we are honored and privileged to help support these important organizations in their mission to serve.”
Attendees can select the charity they’d like to benefit from their ticket purchase prior to the event, and $100 of the ticket price is tax-deductible.
Included in the price of the ticket are hot and cold hors d’oeuvre food stations and full bar service at multiple locations on the auto show floor. The Hit Machine Band and Patrick Lamb will provide entertainment.
As a bonus, each ticket holder will be entered into a new-car giveaway for a 2020 Audi A3 Quattro SUV, with a MSRP of $39,000, courtesy of Audi Beaverton. The drawing will be held at approximately 8 pm the evening of the event. Ticket holders need not be present to win, however, entrants must be 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license to be eligible.
