The Porsche 718 soft-top Boxster shares powertrains and just about everything else but its roof with the hard-top 718 Cayman coupe, and you can get both with nearly 500 hp. The most powerful version of the popular mid-engine roadster is the newly introduced 718 Spyder RS that comes with a unique manually operated, lightweight soft top and sporty design characteristics. The 718 Boxster and 718 Cayman are characterized by special colors and matching contrasting elements. The models carry over for 2025, but a 718 EV is expected to debut built on a newly developed platform. The 718 EV will eventually replace the gas-powered models.
