Join the Pinewood Derby tradition started by Cub Scouts! The first Pinewood Derby race was held in Southern California in 1953 when Cubmaster Donald Murphy wanted to create a wholesome activity promoting craftsmanship and good sportsmanship.

We’re continuing that tradition this year at the Oregon International Auto & Motorcycle Show. Our partners at EC Electric are hosting Pinewood Derby races on a 35-foot track every day starting at 1:00 PM and concluding at 5:00 PM. Race coordinators will announce the competition. EC Electric will provide cars for you to race.
