M5 Touring

The BMW 5 Series family includes 4 gas models, 3 electric models, M5, and the recently introduced M5 Touring. The high-performance M5 Touring Hybrid drivetrain produces 717 hp and features the M-specific design inside and out. The 5 Series includes a range-topping 550e model with a plug-in hybrid powertrain. i5 models start with the 335-hp eDrive40 with RWD and a single electric motor. The xDrive40 adds a second electric motor on the front axle and provides 389 hp and all-wheel drive. The hotter M60 xDrive model, also with dual motors, brings 593 hp. Minor updates, new colors and new upholstery options are added for 2026.
