Rivian introduces the all new, all-electric R2 SUV for 2026. Single, dual, and tri-motor powertrain are available with a choice with two different battery sizes. Two rows of seats accommodate up to five riders with a generously sized rear cargo area and a frunk for extra storage. The interior is designed to endure using upcycled birch wood trim and materials made from ocean plastic. The next gen steering wheel has integrated controls with haptic feedback. Rivian has designed an optional roof-top tent for the R2 called Rivian Treehouse with a heated mattress, a lighting system, and even a screen for streaming content.
