As a carryover model, the 2026 Mazda MX-5 features a sporty design with sharp headlights, a large oval air intake, and angular edges on the front fascia. At the back, the MX-5 has small triangular taillights, dual exhaust tips, and a rounded rear bumper. The cabin sports a simple interior design with a sloping dashboard, large physical controls, a manual handbrake, and circular air vents. Standard features include an 8.8-inch infotainment display, Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, Amazon Alexa, dual USB-C ports, six audio speakers, and Bluetooth. MX-5 is offered with either a soft top or a retractable hardtop.
