The Volkswagen Golf GTI and Golf R delivered a refresh last year and carries over for 2026. Exterior changes included new headlights and front bumper, an illuminated logo, a standard lightbar, new color options, and an 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheel design. The interior features a freestanding 12.9-inch touchscreen. Standard and available features across all trim levels include standard navigation, Dynamic Road Sign Display, and wireless App-Connect. Golf R is paired solely with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and is available as the standard model only with available Euro Style Package and adds a new exterior color.
