Volkswagen’s entry compact Taos SUV received a major refresh for the 2025, including upgraded tech, improved styling, and key powertrain updates. The 2026 lineup includes S, SE, SE Black, and SEL. All models are powered by a 1.5L, 174 hp powertrain. Rear-seat pretensioners become standard and wireless charging is enhanced to 15w. LED projector headlights are standard across all trims. The cabin features an integrated floating 8-inch infotainment display and acoustic dampening treatments to reduce noise. SEL models add a premium VW audio system with eight speakers. AWD models are equipped with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
