The Oregon International Auto Show has announced the return of the Sneak Peek charity event, Thurs., Feb. 19, 6:30-10 pm. This year’s charity beneficiaries are Victory Academy, The Boys & Girls Club of Portland Metropolitan Area and Meals on Wheels People.
Dress up and enjoy an intimate evening at the Oregon Convention Center, with unobstructed access to the stars of the show: new luxury, exotic and sports cars, and trucks and SUVs from global automakers. Guests can mingle with fellow enthusiasts, and community and industry leaders, while exploring the latest vehicles and engineering innovations, all while enjoying hosted food and adult beverages throughout the Auto Show floor. Every ticket makes an impact, with a portion of proceeds supporting three important nonprofit organizations. Tickets are $150 each and on sale now at oregonautoshow.com/sneakpeek.
“When we created Sneak Peek a number of years ago, we had no idea of the impact it would make on the Portland community,” said Greg Remensperger, OIAS executive director. “We were heartbroken when we had to pause the event, but determined to bring back this incredible means of support for important, human-service charitable organizations — especially now when the need is so great.”
Remensperger added that the event came together due to the support of several outstanding corporate partners.
“We are grateful to Axis Design, EC Electric, LRS Architects, Perlo Construction, and Walen Construction for helping to bring Sneak Peek back to life,” said Remensperger. “These are exceptional local businesses and good corporate citizens, and Portland is lucky to have them. It’s truly because of their generosity that Sneak Peek is a reality once more.”
To prepare for the glitzy event, the auto show will close at 4 p.m. Thursday. The show reopens to the public Friday: 12-10 p.m.; Saturday: 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday: 10 a.m.-7 p.m.
